Balancing form with function and utilising the perfect composite to deliver a design that is lightweight and tremendously strong. Using a composite material comprised of Nylon 10 and Glass, typically used as a metal replacement polymer in aerospace and medical applications underpins the designs viability. The injection moulding process adopted for its manufacture enables the Tactica One to achieve a cutting edge design whilst maintaining high strength and durability. Many hours were spent, creating countless prototypes of various structures, re-evaluating The strength, flex and durability.

Optimising the 3D form in collation with the material and manufacturing characteristics, created the perfect fusion of form, function, lightweight, strength, reliability and cost. This algorithm later defined Tactica’s unique DNA and product language. This unique collation allowed us to fine tune the design to almost perfect precision and thus producing a product that utilised maximum function whilst minimalising material used.
